the counties in green, mitt romney. so yeah, close race, but santorum took it. it was clear he had more votes, he had more counties and the end result proved it. 13 delegates for rick santorum, 12 for mitt romney. poor mitt romney. except that wasn't really the end result in mississippi. it might be a win for mitt romney. he got one more vote, it was not accounted for. one more vote from an unusually important voter. guy named henry barbour, you may not have heard of henry barbour, there is no reason you have heard of him. henry barbour is the nephew of former governor haley barbour and the national committeeman for the mississippi republican party. and even though rick santorum won mississippi last night, even though he won the popular vote there, barbour boosted romney to 13 delegates because he is a super delegate. his vote is one delegate. that made it a tie. they have two more super delegates, he will have eeked out a win in delegates despite losing the vote and counties. the same was true elsewhere last night as well. in terms of how many delegates were awarded, mitt romney won more tha

. mitt romney's forces spent $2 million in alabama and mississippi, only to lose badly in both states. how can a guy claim to be the people's choice when spending all that money gets you a couple of third place finishes? well the question is, the republican body politic, is it rejecting romney the way the human body rejects a foreign organ? is mitt just too remote, too inawe authentic, too phony for conservatives to accept him as their own. would they rather take a long-shot bet on rick santorum, a guy who feels at least like one of them? the real dead ender is newt gingrich who can prove he can lose in all sections of the country. the cries are growing louder for newt to just get off the -- out of the way. plus, republicans are accused by their enemies of waging a war on women. now mitt romney says he would end all public support for planned parenthood. is he giving his enemies the evidence they want that republicans are women's enemies? >>> and george clooney's here with us tonight. the actor/activist just came back from the border of sudan and south sudan, the site of all the killi

proportionately, he is far behind mitt romney. going forward is getting more challenging. romney's got 495 delegates picking up last night actually more delegates than rick santorum. rick santorum has 252 delegates now gingrich only 131. santorum won 36 delegates last night and of course poor ron paul dragging at 48 delegates. what's coming up? illinois' primary is one week from yesterday on march 20. now, eye put in here what i thought was going to happen in illinois. i think it may be close because romney is spending a boat load of money 69 delegates up for grabs. look at the cool going forward. louisiana, i give that so santorum because of it being a southern state. that's 46 delegates. things start looking a little tougher for him. washington, d.c. april 3, 19 delegates to romney. maryland 37, give that to romney. wisconsin, by just a hair, i might give that to santorum. that could flip in either direction. connecticut, romney, delaware, romney, new york, romney, now pennsylvania, of course, we got to give to santorum, because that's his home state. rhode island, romney. i hate to brea
